Belton Lake & Stillhouse Hollow Lake
Belton Lake has long been a Central Texas favorite for water sports, fishing tournaments, camping, picnics, or just relaxing. Fed by the Leon River, Belton Lake offers a haven for fishing and boating enthusiasts, covering 12,300 surface acres with 136 miles of shoreline.
Stillhouse Hollow Lake is rated among the highest of Texas lakes for water quality. Fed by the Lampasas River, it covers 11,830 Acres and includes 58 miles of shoreline. Along with water and outdoor sports, hiking enthusiasts will enjoy the Chalk Ridge Falls Nature Trail and its scenic waterfall.
Miller Springs Nature Center
Miller Springs Nature Center is a 260-acre scenic natural area in the historic Tennessee Valley, which is located in the cities of Belton and Temple. The nature preserve is open to the public, at no charge, each day of the year. Visitors enjoy hiking and biking this parkland, which has more than 10 miles of trails divided into several loops.

North of Lake Belton Spillway Belton, TX 76513 Nolan Creek Hike & Bike Trail
This is the signature trail in Belton's trail system. It travels from Liberty Park to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor's campus. It is currently 1.26 miles long, with plans to extend. This trail includes 10 educational stations and also travels through Harris Community Park, Yettie Polk Park, and Liberty Park.

Bell County Museum
The award-winning Bell County Museum is a vital resource of collecting and preserving the
historical heritage of the Bell County region, from 13,000 years ago to the mid-1900s. Originally housed in the beautifully restored Carnegie Library Building constructed in 1904, a major expansion in 2006 provided an additional 10,000 square feet of space.
