As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the precautions we are taking at Cedar Crest Hospital & RTC.
Cedar Crest Hospital and RTC is a 134 bed inpatient psychiatric facility. We offer acute inpatient services to children, adolescents and adults that are designed to stabilize the patient’s immediate crisis while providing the patient and family with skills to prevent or minimize future events that would require readmission. We also provide residential treatment for adolescents who have completed acute care inpatient programs and require additional treatment in a 24-hour therapeutic environment, or those who have not responded effectively to previous placements.
We are accepting new referrals to both our acute units (child/adolescent and adult) and to our residential treatment center (adolescents ages 12 to 17.)
Our intake and admissions team is available 24/7 to speak with you about our programs, and whether one of our treatment options (inpatient, partial hospitalization, or outpatient) is right for you. Our team is also available to refer you to other programs if we are not the right program to meet your needs. Assessments are done at no charge. The 24/7 number is 254-9539-2100 ext. 700.
We are consistently monitoring updates from the CDC and Texas Health and Human Services to ensure that all guidance received is based on the latest information released.
  • Visitation to campus is greatly reduced at this time. All staff and visitors to our campus are screened, including a temperature check. Anyone with a fever of 100.0 F or above is not allowed to enter the facility.
  • All staff members have received infection prevention and control training and are meticulously monitored to ensure compliance.
  • Thorough disinfection and hygiene guidance has been provided and is being monitored.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our 24/7 admissions phone number is 254-939-2100 ext. 700. Non-admissions questions can be directed to our community liaison Holly Doggett at holly.doggett@acadiahealthcare .com or 254-939-4016.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve.

Fortify Your Home. Fortify Your Family.

As The Wellness Company, our highest concern is your health and wellbeing.  With the COVID-19 virus spreading throughout North America, many Melaleuca members are implementing smart strategies to fortify their homes and fortify their families. Here’s what we recommend:
Picture
Regularly Disinfect High‑Touch Surfaces
Even if you’re mostly staying home, each time you leave and return, you potentially bring a virus inside. Sol‑U‑Guard Botanical® Disinfectant is an EPA‑registered disinfectant that kills 99.9% of viruses.

Clean Your Hands Frequently
Washing hands regularly for at least 20 seconds is critical. Sun Valley® Hand Soap helps to wash away germs. Two varieties—Mint & Herb and Pomegranate Sage—are powered by Sol-U-Guard Botanical.
Picture
If washing hands isn’t possible, hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol can be effective. With 62% ethyl alcohol, Clear Defense® kills 99.99% of illness-causing germs.

Smith Supply is still open for business to provide essential items and disinfecting practices information needed by businesses that are still operating and the community!! Some items are getting low, but we still have gloves, disinfectants, soap and other items to arm yourself against this attack! They are available in smaller than normal quantities, so that we can make them last until the supply chain gets flowing again, but they are available! **** We do not have hand sanitizer or masks as these items are being almost 100% diverted to healthcare facilities.

Call ahead and schedule a curbside pick-up time and either pay for your purchase with credit card or put on an existing account and we will bring it out to your car when you arrive with gloved hands and place it in your back seat or trunk!!
