No one knows what a military spouse goes through better than another military spouse. For this very reason the Belton Area Military Spouses Support (BAMSS) group was formed. The idea for this group originated out of a concern raised by Anne Jackson, Bell County Assistant District Attorney and military spouse, at one of the Living in the New Normal Committee’s (LINN) Meet Belton for Military Families in Belton ISD events. Through dialogue with Jackson, the Chamber’s LINN Committee determined that forming the BAMSS would be the perfect way to meet the need voiced by her concern. This group will help pull together military spouses to form a network of support for each other when spouses are deployed. Check out the BAMSS Facebook page for updates. If you would like to receive emails for BAMSS events, send an inquiry email to info@beltonchamber.com
