Mark Arrazola is going on his second year as Belton’s Chamber of Commerce President and his first year served hasn’t gone unnoticed by the community. He has put in countless hours to ensure that all of the new businesses that come to Belton feel welcomed and get the recognition and support that they deserve.

“For me, it was year of growth, learning, and building deeper relationships,” said Arrazola. “A number of new opportunities came up for me as well this past year. It was a tremendous joy to be able to take those and leverage them to help make a positive impact for our community.”

The Chamber has had many key highlights from 2016 such as having a successful 4th of July Celebration & PRCA Rodeo that drew in over 40,000 people to our community. Also having the largest turn out at the Festival on Nolan Creek in the past 10 years.

“The membership continues to grow, along with the involvement of the members and future members at our 3 monthly networking events. 71 businesses joined the Chamber last year and we hosted 32 Ribbon Cuttings. We also hosted a very successful Patriot Golf Classic that helped support the efforts of our Military Relations Committee ,” said Arrazola.

As we begin a new year, the Chamber is already hard at work with their annual events and looking into new things to bring to Belton this year.

“We have our annual events that we work hard on every year to make them the best yet. We’re also looking towards a few new things that will provide us amazing opportunities further partner with and support our community,” said Arrazola.
